Eventually, it kind of works Ok so I've been using this device for a full 48 hours, and I have some thoughts! First thing I noticed is that almost everything I wanted to scan is more than one page. Using Apple's Image Capture doesn't really support continuous scanning, so to scan multiple pages (without assembling the scans later) you need to use their software. Which, ok fine. Met all my expectations I had some minor issues with downloading but I resolved those issues.
Uses MicroSDHC and not MicroSDXC Portable and scans without a fuss. Tried connecting it to my mobile device using cellular data hotspot but it doesn't work and will not appear as a selectable device on the app. The scanner takes MicroSDHC and won't read MicroSDXC. Besides all that, works just fine.

SUPER COMPLETA Scanner muy practico y fácil de usar, su velocidad de scanner no tiene nada que envidiar a los scanner ultrarrápidos, sin embargo es necesario alimentar las hojas siendo su única falencia pero elimina dicho punto negativo su practicidad y movilidad.
Good enough for small jobs I like the fact that this unit is so portable, but it does not always connect to wifi. The sd card is a plus when it won't connect properly to wifi. The double sided copy is wonderful. This unit is best used on the go when you can connect directly to a the laptop using the included cable.
I'm absolutely happy with this scanner!!!! This scanner is excellent. It works flawlessly in OpenSuSE Linux 15.2 and Ubuntu 20.04. The drivers must be downloaded from the Brother's web page. Its mass storage support is the feature that convinced me to buy this product.

Works great but requires computer to charge Fantastic little "portable" scanner. Why is portable in quotes? Because you can't charge this scanner without a computer. It comes with a USB cable to charge or connect to a PC, but if you plug it into a wall charger it will work, but not charge. How does that make sense? So it is only portable if you charged it beforehand with a PC. I bought mine to put in my copy room, and now it isn't portable unless I bring it back to my office to charge on a computer.
