Awesome product works especially good for receipts Very easy to use with a computer, tablet, or phone
Great for documents This scanner is great for scanning documents quickly. I use it in the office and in the field. It's not a great photo scanner, however. It scans photos quickly but not at a high resolution. It's worthless at scanning books or anything that's thicker than a few sheets of paper. This scanner shines at quickly creating PDF files from paper documents. It's easy and portable. If that's what you're looking for, you won't go wrong with this one.

10/10 - couldn't ask for more. Amazing Quality + Speed + the Bets decision i took i can say for me so far. + easy to carry. If only one thing Company can improve is - Brother's App should have auto detect option for ID size ( available in laptop's app ) but not phone app.
works but quirky Once it works, it works. Scanning wise it works well. Like that it is a duplex scanner. Brother continues to make quirky products, though, and this is one of them. Why they still use micro USB 3.0 is beyond me and requires me to carry an extra cable since try finding a micro USB 3.0 to USB C adapter plug. The battery life is rather abysmally short. Compact Scanner I bought this to replace my (printer + scanner) which is bulky and I seldom do printing. The brother scanner is light weight and compact. Scanner is easy to use and scanning speed is fast enough for my purposes.
Makes my job so much easier! This scanner is very easy to set up and use! The feature where you can flip up the little tray to switch from scanning through and out the back to scanning out the top is very convenient when you have your scanner in a tight spot!
The Perfect Portable Scanner Had an old Brother scanner that gave no problems for many years and decided to update. I tried a couple of different models with no success, connection problem after connection problem. Went back to Brother and got this model, installed it once and and have had no problem in the months that I have had it. Some of the features has been great like scanning a long receipts. Portable mode is great when we travel. Highly recommend.
Single pass duplex Convenient and light weight works great for mobile scanning requirements. Bit inconvenient as feeding the document is a bit tricky and some times one has to scan multiple times. Would have been better if there was an option to set the paper and press a button to scan instead of automatically triggering scan which messes up.
