When my Basenji female had to be put down, my adult children took her to Eldorado Pet Hospital. They were kind but used WAY too many procedures to put her to sleep. Ended up costing almost $250 which I thought was excessive. When I contacted them, they said that they were sorry I felt this way....that was it.

We waited over an hour to be seen, with an appointment. Pretty sure they forgot about us, as someone was mopping the floor and cleaning up while we waiting. Eventually after I said something a 2nd time, they came to examine my pet. When they went to take her blood, I had never heard her scream the way she did that day. I was horrified! She was brought back to me dripping with alcohol on her neck. I had to grab towels with water to get the alcohol off so she wouldn't lick it and get sick. Had to bring our kitty in for a small cut to get looked at. Shouldn't have taken more than 20 mins all said and down. Even with an apt we waited 1 hr in the lobby and then once back in the room it took another hr before we saw the doctor. We were not thrilled by the doctors presence either. Our nurse was more knowledgeable on the issue then what the doctor even shared with us in the few minutes we had with him. Needless to say we will not be going back to this location.

Took my bulldog here because it was Sunday and my regular vet was not open. She was dealing with a tail fold infection so did not want to wait till Monday to get meds. Big mistake..my dog is in worse pain than before. Staff was not knowledgeable and doc was not communicating what his treatment plan was going to be. Because of their wound treatment my dog can not walk because it's too painful. Overall I felt like we were just another patient going through the turnstile. I took my dog in for dental work on 3/16/18 and the next day she had kennel cough. BE CAREFUL! This is highly contagious and once a vet has it they need to do a thorough disinfecting to get rid of the disease. They are now telling me I have to bring her back in - so basically I have to pay another bill for them infecting her!

I was disappointed in this place. My pets were having some issues where they were getting bit and I could not figure out what it was. They are on flea medication but something was not right. This was on a Sunday so I was happy to see a vet was open on Sunday. However, once I got there, the wait time was way too long and this doctor has the front desk staff doing his work. I brought my kitty in for a procedure and when she was returned to me she was soiled in urine. I arrive home to discover there is still a catheter in her leg from where they put her IV in! Also, the same foot was double in size. I called the company and I was instructed to "pull the IV out" myself. You would think that the logical solution would be to bring the animal in for the vet to take it out. Just relocated to Texas and needed a vet. My mom who is a native spanish speaker tried to make an appointment for my baby boy. Whoever answered was screaming at her because of a language barrier, which I find to be very unprofessional and disrespectful. Not a good impression. Ill pass on taking my furbaby to this location.

Awkward! That's how this vet makes you feel. He doesn't give you any information, he doesn't make you feel comfortable that he knows what he is talking about and doesn't make you feel like you are getting all the information when it comes to the health of your pet. City Vet is much cleaner and way more friendly and makes you feel like you should feel when you go the vet.
