I have been boarding my dog and getting her groomed at elite suites in Heath since they opened years ago but the quality has definitely gone down. I got my schnauzer mix groomed today and I am very unhappy with the experience. First when the groom comes out she is carrying a torn up nylon rope leash that looked like it should have been thrown away 10 years ago. Not a very high end appearance. When we picked them up, my dogs were filthy, their crates were filthy. They'd been in mud. I only saw 10 min breaks on the camera, never could time extended play time outdoors. If you are going here for the first time with more than 1 dog make sure you get an estimate of cost. Bring your own food. They have a penalty if you pickup the dog "late." We learned all this the hard way. This place did not suit my situation and it was not cheap!

If I could I would give this place -5 stars. Every time I put my dogs in this place after one day coming home they start being very sick. The first time, my family went on a vacation con 7 days when we came back one of our dogs was very sick. He was vomiting like crazy. We took him to the vet in it turned up he had to get surgery that costs us almost $3000.00 because he ate an eyeball from a toy. The second time again the same dog was having very bad diarrhea. So let me start by saying about a year ago I had a wonderful experience at this boarding facility; However, upon arriving at home after my pups most recent stay I noticed my english mastiff Tank was limping and having a hard time lying down. Upon further examination I discovered he had horrible burns on all his dew claws (most likely from being put on ground which is too hot). Let me preface by saying we brought our 5 month old yellow lab here for boarding for the weekend. We didn't have a full book of plans for the weekend and basically wanted to try out this facility for future boarding; that being said we had plenty of time to watch the camera that they put on your dogs kennel. Don't recommend based on experience. Local place, outside and indoor area.. not enough, experienced or educated staff. We can't strongly recommend a personal dog sitter or family member enough. Staff does not seem trained to understand signs of illness and doggie can not consistently functional.

We have reached out to the owner(s) of Elite Suites Pet Resort multiple times now to talk to you regarding the death of our Lab a few day after a lengthy stay at your Heath location and we have not received a single call or email back. This is very unprofessional to say the least. How on earth your staff cannot recognize that our dog was so sick (and needed urgent medical attention) is beyond comprehension. We have information and vet reports and we would like to talk with the owners ASAP.
They lost our reservation for Thanksgiving week. Had to scramble to find a place quickly. Manager was not apologetic, offered no explanation. The attitude was too bad.

I have been pleased with this business before when boarding my dog and having my other groomed. But the last time I tried calling them to schedule another grooming, I received their answering machine. It was not a bother; I simply left a brief message with my name, number and reason for calling. I gave them two days to call me back which never happened.
