Mother stayed about ten days following hospital stay resulting from hematoma removal which left her with a 6 inch long hole in her upper arm. negligent care at Encompass (improper and infrequent dressing changes including not washing hands, not wearing gloves, failure to have proper wound care personnel attend to the wound etc) resulted in an infection in the wound. This place is the worst! Dena, Jemisha & Becah (sp) are great & wonderful therapist! Karen & Wyson also fabulous. The rest are horrible nursing & nursing techs! They sit around all the time! You hit the call button for them to come & tend to your loved one & it's always someone elses job! Never have I ever seen so much passing the buck in my life! Rude, rough with your loved one too. The food is disgusting! They give the patient no ability to rest & recuperate, never bring the meds when they should! Who draws blood ... read more

This place helped KILL my mother. Useless doctors that never call you. They ask the patients family what kind of medicine to give to the patient. So they must not of attended good schools. Only a handful of good nurses. Had one Male nurse physically abuse my mother. Reported him. They let my mother go weeks with no shower. Over medicating my mother. They were not running correct tests. By the time we got our mother out of there. SHE WAS DEAD 3 DAYS LATER. Encompass Health will KILL YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS.

First, I'll address the positives. Patient interaction by nursing staff is good overall and PT seems diligent and supportive with one major caveat below. On to the negatives which are numerous enough that I'll bullet-point. - PT did not adequately address the challenges she would face at home, such as how high her chairs were, etc. - The family did not appreciate the frequent urging to give them a perfect review on the patient survey. - Release came way to early. The patient was released with a walker, but was nowhere ... read more
