I have been to several rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities in the recent years. I never understood the difference between rehabilitation, and a nursing home. I can say that I now know. Rehabilitation is where you get enough therapy to get you back home. Skilled nursing keep you safely in bed. I kept busy with three hours of therapy every day. I was there for 10 days between the facility and the staff, I couldn't have asked for a better place to be to heal. I'd recommend anyone that needs a rehabilitation hospital to c... read more

I can't express in words how the professional and kind the whole staff is. From the liaisons Mark & Laura which were outstanding to deal with. All the nurses are very kind and attentive. The rehab person Mr. Payman and entire staff are outstanding and good souls. Thank You Encompass staff & management.

My mom suffered a stroke on May 30th and, after a week at UCI Health-Los Alamitos, she was referred to Encompass. The nurses in the stroke and cardiovascular unit there were exceptional--compassionate, attentive, and truly wonderful in every sense. Through a coworker, I learned that a family member of hers was already receiving acute physical therapy at Encompass, and she spoke so highly of the professionalism and the facility that I shared it with my siblings. When my father had a stroke, he was not placed in a good facility, so we were understandably hesitant. However, this center has exceeded all of our expectations.
