Visiting the Labor & Delivery wing can be a bit tricky - especially when there is no volunteer at the 2nd floor reception desk! In fact, if you encounter this don't bother calling the suggested462500 (or something like that) just go to the door that says Labor & Delivery and ring the buzzer! Otherwise, pray that the new mom, family, etc. has their cell phone on vibrate and does not wake a sleeping baby when you call - only to be told to "go to the door that says Labor & Delivery and ring the buzzer!" Last week I ended up in the emergency room for an infected gallbladder. I got there at 2 am and there was barley no one. Nevertheless, once someone came out, they got all my information in and as soon as they could they got me inside. They took care of me with extreme professionalism and kindness. They looked out after me until the surgery. I had the good fortune of getting an extraordinary surgeon. It all went great and then when they transferred me out form the E.R. I have utilized this ER facility on multiple occasions. Once involved a time critical life saving diagnosis. My stay there was comfortable and the nurses and doctors were all very attentive. The billing can get a little confusing but I think that is more so due to the insurance company's rather than the actual billing department.

My father suffered a major stroke at the beginning of January and was transferred to Encompass Vintage after discharging from the hospital. He was there for a total of 23 days. First and foremost, the therapists and day-to-day staff that worked directly with my father were incredible. They were knowledgeable, caring, patient, and thankfully brought a breadth of knowledge. This place is the worst!! If we could give zero stars then that's what they would get. Our patient had terrible bed sores. Contracted pneumonia. After 2 weeks and very little improvement they wanted to discharge the patient even though the insurance had been approved for a longer stay. Case manager couldn't be bother. Nursing staff came at their convenience. One visit I was their, they dumped her back in bed after her therapy session, leaving her with her arm pinned!! The Doctor was nothing but rude. Do not take your family there. My mother is 96 yrs old with advance Lewy Body Dementia. She had fallen several times in the last 30 days and ended up with the collar bone fractured, vertebra T12 & L1 and a broken hip. The hip was replaced at the Methodist Hospital and prior to transferring her they requested a sitter. For 3 days I kept telling everyone about her collar bone and that she should not fall again. Don't come to this hospital. Hospital Infection from surgery and Crenshanda Williams "billing subterfuge". Still disputing a $350 incorrect charge two years later. I visited this hospital ER September 6 2018 7AM for pain in lower abdomen. I was inform within an hour I needed to have an appendectomy right than. While in the ER strapped to IV, billing called my room that they completed my certification with my insurance and all I needed to pay was my copay/coinsurance. This place is not worried about nothing but billing. They sent my mom home with 6 pages of medicine during the virus. My mom is 64 with many health issues and was not able to get the medicine filled. I called them many times spoke with Kim in the Pharmacy and she could careless. She was rude and talked over me constantly. When I requested to speak with someone in charge they transferred me to voicemails.
