Alberto and the staff at this Extra Space Storage were very accommodating during move to the DMV two months ago.. I spent over 12 hours driving and explained to the manager I would be arriving after office hours but he ensured I had all the instructions for accessing the property when I arrived! The location of the property is convenient and very accessible! I recommend this property if you're searching for safe and convenient storage in the Silver Spring area!

I had a wonderful experience with Michael who was very conscientious and thorough with not only showing the storage spaces but also with the business transaction, including explaining the details of the leasing arrangement.

We loved this place. Super clean! The store manager, Alberto Portillo, was AMAZING. He was super helpful, explained the process clearly and was nice. We were in and out of there in no time at all.

Extra Space Storage on Newell Street was a great fit for our interim storage needs. We had a great unit that was close to the loading dock, which was incredibly convenient for accessing our unit. Staff was helpful and informative, as well as friendly and personable. Our belongings felt safe and secure, and the facility was clean and kept up well. I love that I am able to have easy assess anytime of day. The facility is very clean and safe. The staff is available and always will to help. I have used other storage facilities but this one is far above the others. YCH

I just signed up for an 5x10 space with Alberto Portillo. He was incredibly helpful in helping me get the best possible space available. I was in a rush the day I came in to sign the contract and would've signed anything just to get the contract over with, but then Alberto mentioned that a better space was opening up if I was willing to come another day. I mentioned that my time was limited and I didn't know when I would be be able to come back. He said not to worry that he could help hold the space for me for about 2 weeks ... read more

I've rented from Extra Space Storage in other areas of the country and by far this location is absolutely wonderful. The staff makes all the difference and the place is very clean. When we moved in I had purchased a small closet to hang up clothes in the unit. To my surprise the staff helped me assemble it. After my last experience with Extra Space in FL I was really reluctant but I feel very very blessed to have the opportunity to use the location.

This is the best storage company I've ever had the pleasure of using. First of all, they have excellent promotional offers with no catch or fine print (I.e. first month free). Secondly, their staff is so accommodating, friendly, and truly helpful. During a time where we are in the middle of moving and going through a lot of stress I cannot express what a saving grace they have been. That will stay with me, thanks to your wonderful staff and awesome company! I've already told everyone I know.
