I haven't used Extra Space, but called their 'new customer' line to get a rate for a unit. While the man I spoke to was very nice and checked a couple of different properties to try to get me a lower rate, I felt like he was REALLY pushing me to reserve the space. I absolutely hate being sold to - I come away feeling sick to my stomach. I feel bad giving a negative review because I'm sure he is told to push for the sell, and I'm sure they run a lovely business, but the fact that I was pushed so hard completely turned me off.... read more
