Awful! I trusted they could set me up properly on auto draft to cover my payments after explaining I would be unavailable for a couple months but I when I returned I see no payments were taken and now I have over $100 in add fees. I requested a courtesy partial adjustments since the rep was partly at fault but the manager made no effort to acknowledge their mistake or empathize. Their rates go up literally every few months. Then when I moved to a larger unit, I was tricked into ending up paying more than I would have. Then when I finally moved out of the unit for good, they charged me the next months rent still and after a month, i STILL don't have my money back. It was a lot of money!

Do not keep your belongings there. They are at great risk. I would give them 0 stars, but it is not possible. I was happy with them and stored my home furniture for 3 years. We moved from CT, and just recently we bought a new house. It was just furniture and household items... no food or anything like that. We went to pick up our furniture, just to find out that most of it had to be thrown to the dumpster. They have a huge plague of rats. I have been a customer at Extra Space for nearly two years. My payments are charged to my credit card every month. I had decided to release the space this weekend Sept.24/25. My rent was charged to the credit card today (Sept 23rd) for the whole month of October, so I called the site manager (General Mgr) and explained my situation. The facilities are clean and most of the folks are nice. However, the company as a whole is not completely forthcoming with charges and management changes with the weather. In addition, management has never returned a phone call. If you have an issue you will spend time calling and calling again. Shady, shady, shady! Do your homework and go with another company. Do not be fooled by introductory rates, they will change in a few months and you will be blamed for taking the word of management instead of reading their agreement ... read more

contact facility before storing there as I am on a fixed income and was comparing places beforehand. They are running a special for (free month) and I asked what money I would need before I came up there. Was told an amount and then when I got there was informed of mandatory insurance that was an additional cost. This was not advertised and was not spoken to me about over the phone. The absolute worst location ever. There is no respect for customers at this location overall my experience with extra space storage is not very good. This is a company that I would never again ever use in the future. They treat the customers like garbage and I am paid up and not late. The office people tell lies and the manager is doing some shady things.
