Stay clear of this place! Rent goes up every month! And the lies about promotions! Don't fall victim to their scams. They will tell you to get a bigger space at a price of a small one and flip it amd raise the price within the month of moving!
Do not in any circumstances rent a storage unit with this location. The manager on duty, Amanda is useless at best. Her defensive attitude towards my boyfriend was not ok. They simply do not care here, even if thousands of stuff was stolen. SEVEN, that's right SEVEN storage units were broken into while she was on duty during business hours. "Buyer be VERY aware". When we first got it (yes, first month free) we agreed to pay $260 a month. 2 years later, we realized they were charging us $440 a month. When we called they claimed that notices were sent by email. Noting was mailed and the "notice" was buried at the bottom of one email (not conspicuous at all as you would expect). I have 2 storages for many years. Manager was very professional and helpful for many years. Since 1 year ago we have a new manager, Bruce. Dark place (no bright lights), doors unlocked with no codpad, fence broken/cut over and over again by homeless who cut locks and steel stuffs. Place Unsafe at night, security/surveillance unexistant. Advertising exceptional Security/Surveillance/Cameras. Cameras not working properly with motions. Easy place to broke into. Horrible customer service, I rather take my business somewhere else. Extra space better reconsider its employment and training process since these guys have no clude what customer service means.
Beware -- this is a bait and switch deal, based on rapid rate increases from what they hook you on. They were great signing in, and the facility is nice and clean. But I just received yet another notice that my rate is going up again. What I began paying in October 2011 has increased 30% in under two years. This is an unacceptable rate increase. Who else in this economy -- other than health care insurers -- has rate increases this large? So buyer beware -- they'll get you in for under $60, and then jack it up. Other ... read more
