I called to find out about moving supplies the person on the phone was super friendly and helpful. If you are wanting trustworthy customer service then this is the place to call and use them for your moving packing needs!

I'm in the process of moving and needed to find storage to put my things in for the meantime. Went to Public Storage before I found Extra Space Storage and it had a really strong odor throughout their facility. They definitely didn't keep up with it. Jacqueline is such a sweetheart. She was very nice & welcoming since I first walked into the door, very polite & made me feel comfortable right away. I love how clean Extra Space Storage is. The air wasn't even turned on and it was in the high 80's when I went to get some things from my unit, I was upstairs on the 3rd floor for at least 45min , so it was pretty hot. I stopped by the office on my way out and asked why the air wasn't on the lady in the office was quite unfriendly, no apologies or empathy whatsoever. Constantly increases monthly rent with no reason. Dirty, smelly, disgusting environment. False advertising of air cooled units that are not cooled at all.

They raise rates multiple times a year and do not communicate through emails so if you move by chance you won't be made aware a raise is happening until your bill comes out. And I'm not talking a few dollars, Im talking $50-100 more. They could at least give a courtesy call. My bill was barely $100 when I first got it and is now pushing $300 less than 2 years later. Would not recommend unless you are in a bind and don't intend to keep the unit for an extended period of time, but even then I still WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Terrible facility!! Your belongings will be damaged or stolen from this property. The only reason I came here was for the value but I guess you get what you pay for. Corporate is a joke and will do nothing to resolve the situation. Please do yourself a HUGE favor and DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION! I would give a -20/0 if I could. Absolutely frustrating!!!

There you go I hope you at extra storage space the one on w charleston are happy now I moved out now you will have really nothing to do find someone else to worry how long thay are there even if it store hours 6am to 10 pm just want to thank you guy its work out better then I thought bye bey

This place is very unsafe! I stored my RV there for 3 years and have had it broken into 4 times! Shame on me for not moving it sooner. Police reports had been filed. The last time I had requested the district manager to contact me 2 different times and I have still not received a call. One of the gates has been out of order for months! There managers have a high turnover rate which speaks volumes to me. They do not care about your properties safety. Oh but don't worry! The whole place is getting a fresh coat of paint! Awful location. Had my unit ransacked and personal items stolen. Better off throwing your personal belongings away rather than keeping them here. STAY AWAY Edit: State of the art security is I'm assuming the few cameras you have on the outside of the establishment. Yeah still haven't gotten my belongings back and no ones been caught. As I said before avoid this awful establishment.
