so i went in to rent a 5x5 space but unfortunately they did not have one. despite this the staff, tina and ellie, took the time to give me a tour of the facility, show me other options, and were very friendly and helpful. i was impressed with the cleanliness and liked the layout which seems very secure. even though they weren't available at this time i will be checking back and renting from them in the future!
Great face to face customer service. Great hours if I need to come get my stuff early or late. Only gripe is with their software.

We had two storage units here for four years. When it came time to move out Michael, the manager was more than helpful. He went above and beyond to ensure that our move is seamless and easy. Michael was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant at all times couldn't ask for a better experience. We moved out of the units, since we were moving out of the area would highly recommend working with Michael.

Excellent service and staff ! We have used several storage facilities in the Burlingame and Millbrae areas and Extra Space is definitely the best by far ! Very clean and exceptionally maintained , carts have never been a problem and the staff have been incredibly helpful. Kelsie in particular has been very attentive, she is organized, has strong management skills - listens to customers, has a real attention to detail and is very efficient in all follow ups and commitments. Very friendly staff and helpful! Always clean and never felt unsafe. The only complaint is the prices never stop going up! I left my other storage place because I was told by Extra Space Storage the price would only go up ONCE A YEAR and only by $5.00 to $7.00. Well, that never happened. Price would go up by A LOT!!!!! and more than just once a year. I rented the unit for many years but that did not seem to matter. Very clean, staff is friendly easy to access and easy to pack and unpack. Definitely recommend if you need storage

They have been accommodating in helping me with the door that was jammed. Also will notify me that there was a leak in my old unit.
