I picked this place based just on proximity to where I live. I was pleasantly surprised to find a staff that was knowledgeable, quick and courteous! The prices are competitive and reasonable, I would definitely recommend these guys they're great!

The staff at Extra Space Storage are very friendly and professional. They helped in every aspect of the experience and offered assistance with our moving needs. The units are clean and easily accessible. We just left another storage facility and it was such a pleasure dealing with these folks as opposed to the staff at the other facility.

I was previously a public storage for a couple years and it seemed like every other month they would increase the rent. I decided to find a more affordable facility I found a more affordable unit at extra space on Auburn two month ago I rented a unit for $317 on top of which you pay a mandatory insurance and tax which brought it up to 364.30 which wasn't disclosed enter into the agreement, by the way it was an agreement. so now two months later I'm getting a notice in the mail of a rent increase to 450.30 this kind of slimy ... read more

I moved from a public storage because my unit was broken into. Not even a week after moving into extra space, my unit got broken into. The sides are made of steel, however the back wall is MDF particle board. U can kick it in and thats what happened. Not only that but within a couple months my rate went from $135 to $225. Inflation my ass that's way above the rate of inflation. They know they can raise the rate because nobody wants to move all their stuff again. They kinda got u by the balls and they know it so they gouge u

Once you are there, they raise the rent often. They draw you in with a low rate and then just keep raising it.

I'm extremely upset with the service or lack there of, I should say, from this business. I purchased my storage a few months back at $135. A few months later, I get a notification in the mail that they have increased my rent. My new monthly would be $200. I couldn't believe my rent had jumped up so significantly and in the short time I had my unit. I figured maybe it was a mistake. I called the company and they told me "Yeah, sorry. Stay away! This company doubled my storage fee during Covid from 65 per month to 132!! I explained to them that my little dog needed needed emergency surgery last month (2500) and I would be paying my rent late. I understand late fees but in one month they slapped a 20 late fee PLUS a "pre foreclosure fee" of 85! A total of 105 for being late one month. Seriously a rip off...
