I called the phone number on the website, Jane (I believe that was her name) was super helpful and informative. I've never rented a storage unit before and wasn't sure what size I would need. Well between Jane and then Jessica the location manager I got the right size. I'm so thankful for Jessica and Jane's help.

Great customer service. From Jessica I believe was her name. Nice friendly service she helped me with. I'm forsure keeping my space if she's around. Nice customer service

extra space uses a company called storage treasures to auction unpaid units unfortunately i had some medical issues that made it difficult to work, got behind on my bills, and received notice my unit was going to be auctioned off. I contacted extra space because I was concerned that I had personal papers / legal documents in the unit my birth cert , marriage license , social security card, death certificate, letters from grandfather sent during WW11, great grandparents papers to get in this country, family history , etc...... read more

Got a space here three months ago, $55 for a 4' x 5' space. This month they jumped the rate to $93, no email or text about it, nothing. This is such low underhanded business crap I just can't believe it. I'm getting there ASAP to pull my stuff out of this tiny closet, because they will screw you over.

The absolute worst. We had our unit less than a month before it was broken into robbed and vandalized. When we filed a police report the officer found that all the cameras are facing away, multiple units were broken into and vandalized, that it was likely that employees of Extra Space had given keys to the units to thieves that they rent their commercial parking space out - making the location completely insecure. I'm leaving this review because of the lack of willingness for customer service. I purchased 4 queen-size stage bed bags on July 16th. I was asked if I wanted the receipt and politely said no, as I would be using all the bags. I went back to return them twice and was told without a receipt, no refund. I asked Kaylee yesterday on my 2nd visit if I could show her my account info which showed the purchase and amount. She flat out said NO. Very upset regarding online account. For some reason when I paid for my storage it charged 2 payments of $179 and one for $180 for the same unit! I called to ask them to reject the payments that were overpaid and she said there has always been a charge for $180..well...what are the 2 payments of $179 coming from???? That is almost $400 out of my account that should be reversed. Too bad cause she said it takes 3 days to a week for that to happen!!!! WHAT???? Our storage area was broken into and many of the boxes opened. The thieves had a lot of time to look into each and every box and take what they wanted. The lock was not visibly damaged so someone had a key. When I complained they said call the police, file an insurance loss. They said they were not responsible and couldn't take the blame. They do get no stars from me...if I could do a minus I would.
