way overpriced, including BIG mo. cost increases constantly for no reason, too often gate or elevator doesnot work, were beyond nasty, misleaders, liars, uncaring, brian kim, regional VP breached agremnt,, they often not in office anyway, snarky non.cus.svc., and even worse trying to get a human nor anything in non.contract writing, in corp. Update: within one year, my rent has gone up $160 - from $197.20 when I took possession of the unit, to $357.20 (see attached photo of rate increase postcard I received in the mail). There are so many storage facilities around, do NOT rent from Extra Space Storage! This is out of control. Storage facilities, just like many other businesses, need to be regulated.

This place is the worst . They have no cap on the rent as they are not regulated to do so they go up on your storage fees so often that this last time I was visiting, I had to actually move out of my storage which was huge inconvenience because they went up $100 with no warning as they only send you a postcard that looks like junk mail in an attempt to deceive you in my opinion. I was only there a year and the price went up on me twice I started out at $150 a year later they wanted to keep me at 273. Also when moving out you... read more

The place is clean and maintained. I'll give it that. But STAff IS RACIS AND DISCRIMINATES. They love you accuse people without any evidence and when you call them out on it. The evidence disappears. Management has a D!(k up their anal cavity with corporate that they will never apologize for their mistake. Their security system is a joke. You can type 1234.. 00000... and get access to the facility Prices get increased to get people to move out asap. Pay the whole year in 1 day and don't worry about the price increases

Beware, they raise the rent without any type of notice (is that even legal??) and it's only been 3 months since I moved in. Mine went up $11.00 for my 5×5 unit. My impression is they do this to discourage long term tenants. I wish I had known this before moving in. Hope somebody finds this info. helpful.

Horrible customer service way too many mistakes Mange wrote my unit number on pice of paper and it turn out it's a wrong unit After moving all my things they ask me to move my stuff to the other unit even after showing them her own hand writing Stay a away form this storage place save your self the headache

This was the WORST experience I have ever had with this company. They rented to me, and then canceled my account. The Manager is RUDE!!! DO NOT, I REPEAT.. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!

A friend of mine rented a unit from this Extra storage and received a letter in the mail of a 33% increase after 3 months! So people know the annual inflation rate for the last 12 months averaged 3.7%. So there is no justification for a 33% price increase after 3 months and this is simply price gouging vulnerable customers! Also, no one answers the phone for current customers and they only answer the phone if you choose "new customer-rent a unit." Storage unit companies like this one need to be seriously regulated by the go... read more

Customer be aware! Bait and switch ! I got my storage in May and 4 months later they rise the rental fee by 94% meaning from $99 to $192...without notice they said they sent by Mail but I never receive it they have my email but never sent any email notifications regards to the Increase. Very tricky company. I would stay away from this storage company as THEY ARE NOT HONEST.....BAIT AND SWITCH!!
