This location used to be Mini Storage, but now it's an Extra Storage location. The new management is revamping the site little by little. I recently had difficulty accessing my second-floor unit because of logistics. JJ and Izzy went above and beyond with assisting me and accommodating me with what I needed to get my belongings into my space safely with the limited resources we had(the location is currently waiting for a few building/city approvals to go through and approved). This place is old, but seems safe. The manager Gary is very helpful. Extra Space took over the storage this year. I can see they're making improvements on the property like putting 2 new lifts to the upper floor. I'll continue to recommend Extra Space.
This is my first month using this storage facility and so far everything has gone smoothly. Gary was very helpful and friendly setting me up with my unit. He seems to be available and responsive to communication and questions. I was a little concerned with the state of the place as it is a little run down, but honestly the stuff I need to store doesn't require anything fancy, just something secure and safe which is what it is so far. This is a safe and excellent storage facility special thanks to the manager Gary. I've been a renter here for years, and I can honestly say Gary has made this place a much safer and cleaner environment. WARNING: This place is infested with rats and your items will be drenched in rat sh*t. They "changed management" or switched to a different franchise name, but their personnel is the same as before ~ to avoid lawsuits (which is so illegal). Everything was a total loss and just waiting to see my stuff on Storage Wars, there was no way I was going to touch anything in there.

I initially rated this place 5 star because they are friendly and cheap, but I have to change it because in less than a year, I went from $87 a month to $148 a month to now $191 a month. I get inflation, but over 100% increase in less than a year? I will be moving my stuff somewhere else or even just buying a storage shed that would pay itself in 2 months worth of renting. If I could leave a zero star review for the so called manager Gary I would! I cannot believe he has the title of manager to be honest. If it weren't for JJ's customer service and support, I would move my business elsewhere. Gary phoned my husband and we could not hear him on the other end, there was no sound (go figure technology) finally as we were attempting to call back he called through and we were finally able to hear him. HORRIBLE company. I called the 800 national line and made a simple inquiry. I never gave them my phone number. This guy then calls me twice despite telling him I would sue him and Extra Space Storage for spam and harassment. He ended up SCREAMING at me telling me why did I call? I chose not to go use this place after reading about rats and break-ins. This confirmed how horrible this place really is. He messed with the wrong guy as I'm an attorney and will sue Extra Space Storage in the LA Superior Court for this undeserve... read more

I used this place when it was called Pasadena Mini Storage and they allowed rats to roam free throughout the units. Those reviews have gone now because of the new name. ALL of my belongings and I mean all of it, was effected by rats chewing on my books - through boxes to get to them and worst of all, my beautiful couch was ruined because the rats used it as a toilet. Gary didn't want to know about it when I removed all of my belongings and there was a huge pile of rat pooh in the middle of my unit. I doubt if anything has ch... read more
