Unit was broke in not once, not twice, but 3x!!!! Half the books were eaten by rats, and the rest of the was covered in their waste. Thats right rat poop and pee. Then! they had the audacity to raise my rate by double! Customer service is horrible, the people at the location say they're limited by the parent company, but then you call corporate and they say huh. Hours are bad as well. Extremely unprofessional and fraudulent. I paid for a room at the Pasadena location, and days later arrived to add more items to my space, but the entire store was locked and nobody answered any phone line for the business. I had to buy a unit at another company to store my things, and went the next day to Extra Storage and was granted a full refund, leaving the lock with the manager. Months later, I was called by a collections agency, claiming I left my unit locked (untrue) and therefore owed money, forcing me to pay money ... read more

This location use to be Pasadena Mini storage. Rates use to fit our budget but this new company came in and raised rates to unaffordable prices. New staff members are very rude and not trained very well to communicate with the public without attitude. Not to mention this location has a very bad rodent problem.

Great customer service from Gary from the start. The rental started in 2020, at approximately $141 per month for 10x10. To date they gave increased twice approximately $80 each year. They also added an extra $16 per month for insurance. Craziness - What a rip off.

I'll echo what Nancy F. stated. This place is rodent infested. Extra Space Storage has now taken over and within 6 month's has raised the monthly rate by $80+. This, after sending out a notice of mgmt change with a statement "As we update the property, it is not likely that you will be impacted". A $80+ increase IS an impact and a negative one. Overall bad decision and business and I'll be taking mine elsewhere unless they correct this egregious increase and soon.
