I was expecting to be asked about my medical history and maybe fill out a form. The form I got to fill out and sign was a promise to pay. When I got in the room I was asked about surgeries and if I smoke or drink. I don’t understand how rotator cuff surgery and smoking a pack of cigarettes daily has anything to do with a tick bite. Check in was fine. Assessment by Medical Assistant was fine. The Practitioner or Physician (not a clue) was wearing a mask and stood as far away from me as possible, therefore I could understand only about half of what she was saying. Does your facility do bloodwork or urinalysis? I was concerned or I would not have been there. Tested negative for flu and Covid. Treated me for flu. Anyway sorry for the negativity.
I recently took my daughter in for a sick visit, Misty, the NP, was excellent. I was happy with my visit until I noticed an unauthorized charge on my debit card, after I chose to not leave my card on file. I authorized a charge of $81.87 for a balance due when I was presented at the time of the appointment. However, I noticed a new charge on my card of $101.89 that I did not authorize, so I was charged for the $81.87 and the $101.89. I am a veteran and i went to the Fast Pace Urgent Care in Tell City on Wednesday July 26th to be treated for my shoulder and i was refused service because the only thing they were worried about an insurance card. I have been treated there previously and i had the receptionist look up my previous visit and she saw that the VA had paid for my services which that was her only concern which she saw that they paid before but still refused to service me.
