Hands down the best urgent care around. I was injured while on vacation and went in right before they closed. They took excellent care of me and I didn't feel like they rushed me out being it was closing time. They were very thorough with xrays and care. It turned out that I had broken my ankle. I was very grateful for them. They went above and beyond for me.

We arrived here at 8AM on a Sunday for my boyfriend's possible broken ankle. He had gotten sucked down some rapids at the river yesterday and banged it up really good on some rocks. We were taken back within about 15 minutes being the second people to arrive and were seen shortly after. He was given x rays and a thorough exam. Very do-able and convenient hours for a working person! Clean, efficient facility! Friendly staff overall. Short wait-time (15 minutes) was nice. These were my experiences at the Hendersonville, NC, FastMed Urgent Care: the front office lady, Savannah, was super nice and friendly. Scott, the physician's assistant, was attentive and helpful. Very stream lined process. I don't go to doctors regularly like avoid them at all costs. I was very apprehensive because I've been bullied by medical professionals in the past pushing their agendas. I have to remind them of my right to choose and medical freedom. That being said the doctor here only went over what I needed and didnt try to push anything on me and my family. It was a really refreshing experience. I would recommend this place.

I'd say 3.5 if that was an option. Overall not a bad experience for this type of place. Staff & Care was pretty much as expected, which was very acceptable, for a care center with constant stream of clients. I used the online check in which helped a lot with planning & timing expectation. My 30 min notice never came, but I headed over at my estimated time anyway. I'm still a fan. The facility is clean. The staff is friendly. The diagnoses and treatments are accurate. The follow up is consistent. It is a distinct comfort to know when you're in the area and have a medical issue or emergency that you can be received and seen promptly at FastMed. My last visit was after sewing through my index finger with my sewing machine! I went in for a tetanus shot. The PA ordered an x-ray and found there was still a piece of the broken needle in my finger. He attempted to surgically remove it. When ... read more

We were on vacation from Pennsylvania and my son got sick on our second day there. We went to FastMed in Hendersonville and they couldn't have been any nicer. My son is 4yrs old and terrified of going to the doctor. The physicians assistant was EXCELLENT with my son. They prescribed a medication that I could not get my son to take, so I called them. Again, they couldn't have been any nicer and sent another medication over to the pharmacy for us to pick up. They have a wonderful, polite staff. Couldn't have asked for a better... read more

Wonderful experience ..they got be right back. I was so sick ..they,started breathing treatments and helped me fill out paperwork ..professional and friendly ..took time to explain everything. I got there at 3:45..they were closing at 4. They didn't hurry thru anything. Definitely a pleasant experience at a time I felt horrible.
I have been many times to this place for all reasons and have had good experiences with waiting, front desk and the doctors. I went the other day for bullseye tick mark after removing the tick at home. they were great and I was in and out.
