Do not go here for covid testing. Went here for a covid test for my son who had a covid exposure at school. Full doctor exam is required to get a covid test, which meant sitting and waiting inside a small room for 45 minutes total. We asked if we could wait outside and they said no, if the patient left the room the DOCTOR said they would "throw his test in the trash". I have never been so disappointed in medical professionals. What a joke this place is and the people work here. This is my story, single dad goes in this past Saturday, been sick for less than a week now. I get checked in, the first one in when they open on Saturday morning, I have a bad sinus infection, upper respiratory virus, problem breathing, severe coughing, nasal drip, bad phlegm, can't sleep because of all this. Christmas Day and my daughter woke up vomiting. Her dad told me he had the flu the week prior, so felt that a trip to a doc was in order for her comfort and possible Tamiflu if it was flu. Only place open was FastMed. I know these folks sacrificed their holiday to help us and others. Trust me. I work in the medical field as well and have worked many holidays and missed many important events myself. It stinks but it is the nature of working in this line of work. I was seen at FastMed urgent Care on July 4th 2019 . Dr Tara Tedder Lenoir 28645 NC office. I went in that morning to be checked for elevated blood pressure 162 / 97 I told them I had some pressure and felt like heartburn feeling in my chest couple days before visit. They done three EKG test in which the doctor came in and said she was concerned with results that I needed to go by ambulance to hospital. definitely not worth my money. the wait was an hour long and the PA only saw us for five minutes. they basically told me and my friend that it was either allergies, food, or sweating that was causing my rash. and they told my friend that they had "no idea what bite you" but they can get you ointment. they also did not clean off tools, blood pressure checkers, or heart rate monitors before moving onto the next patient. i do not recommend this for anyone under any circumstance.

I would not use the Fast Med in Hendersonville NC. The early online check in process is useless. Wait time is extremely long. Front office staff rude and not very productive

I waited an hour in the treatment room with no updates. I don't mind waiting, especially for someone with a true emergency, but I do mind waiting and not being kept informed. I finally asked and was told "a few more minutes." In total, I waited an hour and a half. After treatment, my wound was bandaged and I left. I got one block away and felt something wet on my back (where the wound was). There was blood all over my shirt, all over the back of my car seat, and the bandage fell into the seat when I sat forward. I had to... read more

I was having a severe asthma attack. I tried my Dr. recommended Nebulizer with albuterol many times with little or no help. The procedure was not working and making me shake violently. After explaining my condition to the staff at Fast Med. their physician insisted another treatment with albuterol administered with a nebulizer . Which did not fix my asthma and made the shaking even worse, which caused me to have to go to the E.R for proper treatment. Terrible. If you enjoy paying for a misdiagnosis, medicine u don't need or want then this place is for you. Complete ignorance coupled with confidence is a dangerous combination in medical 'professionals'. Guaranteed never to listen to the patient. Never again.
