This business has so many negative reviews, and I don't know what they are talking about. We've boarded our Brittany Spaniel at the Pet Resort several times, and we love them. The staff is wonderful, and we always feel our dog is well treated. Best of all, he loves to go there, and can't wait to go in the back and play. They may be expensive, but we feel it's worth it

We had a great experience with them! We adopted our 1.5 yo chihuahua mix about six months ago and he came with some behavioral issues. He's improved but is very skittish and can be aggressive with strangers. They worked with him and allowed him to warm up to them. We lodged him for three nights while out of town and did so with no worry. The staff all seemed genuinely nice and caring. He came back to us happy healthy and his normal spunky self. We will be using them for years to come. Thanks guys!!!!

Kenneled my dog here twice and had him trained here as well. I have always been satisfied with their service. The staff are friendly and obviously love their clientele. They tend to be pricey but my dog is worth it.

We enrolled our 5 month old Lab pup, ( I repeat...L-A-B P-U-P-P-Y) for training. After two weeks she is proficient w/ heel, sit, stay in place, "leave it" and off. She was returned to us well adjusted and healthy. She was clean and bathed. We made a visit to the facility mid stay to check on her and were given ample time to visit and a thorough update as to her care and progress. I​ did want to add that Folsom Dog resort did take 100% responsibility​ for all the ​cost of the vet bills to get my dog back to health​​, and did their best to make things right.

Our primary contacts Mike Harrison and Amanda Weaver, both excellent employees in every regard. They are very dedicated to providing the best care and solid training methods that will last a lifetime. Our 4 mo. old Labrador puppy first attended the 5-day Puppy Camp and most recently (at 10 mo.) attended the 15-day Super Dog training camp. We had a great experience at this place recently. Boarded our small dog and cat while we vacationed. Friendly staff and clean facility. We will be back now fro training and day care as our pup seemed to be sad that he was coming home! :-)

My almost two years old rescue Belgian Malinois, Lulu, started coming to Doggie Day Care about four weeks ago. That girl has energy to burn and boy, does she, here at Folsom Dog Resort. She comes home limp as a noodle and stays that way for about two days. The constant attention and interaction is what dogs require when they have high energy needs. The customer service here is great and people are friendly so let me make that clear. The add on's they try to sell you are never ending and they will keep pushing you to run the bill up thats how I felt. There is a $6 per day (insurance) they make you buy and never mention the charge unless you ask and it's not on the pricing sheet either! I asked for a quote when I dropped dogs off never got one.
