Big con job. Buy the inserts at Walmart for lot less money. No cash refunds but a store credit only, and the store has very little merchandise.

Very sorry that we could not make you happy Nancy. The inserts we sell are not sold at Walmart, and we make custom orthotics. We usually do not take back over the counter inserts once they are used but we always try to find a solution if the customer is willing to work with us. There is also the option of applying the money spent on ready made orthotics towards custom made ones within 30 days. I went to Foot Solutions to try to find some comfortable walking shoes for an upcoming trip. It was not all bad but overall I was not happy and am unlikely to go back there. Here are the pros and cons: The pros: 1) The salesman spent a lot of time with me and seemed knowledgeable about foot problems and shoes. He seemed eager to help me find something that would work. The salesman here oversold his ability to help me choose the right solution for my foot pain. After spending $300 there for shoes in which I couldn't walk without pain, I went to a real orthopedic specialist and had to get customized orthotics. (by the way, these were way less than Foot Solutions tried to sell). Foot Solutions would not take the shoes back, even though I had planned to get different walking shoes with the credit.
I have previously bought two pairs of shoes for myself and one for my fiancee at this store. I have always found the service to be exceptional and I have recommended your store to many other customers. Sadly, I will never do so again after my experience today. I went into the store and there was one sales person helping a couple as another couple sat waiting; another woman was walking around trying some shoes on. Terrible customer service. I went in there to find comfortable shoes for traveling. There were two workers in there chatting away each with a customer. One said he'd be with me shortly but after 15 minutes without even offering to get me a pair of the 3 shoes I had picked out I left of frustration. It's a small store and clearly myself and the person I was with were waiting for their help and being very polite but we were ignored.
