$400+ dollars for the recommended 30K mile service even with an oil change is insane. Also you have to schedule weeks in advance again NOT CONVENIENT AT ALL. The 30k service is simple fluid checks and filter checks it shouldn’t cost that much. Subaru of America certainly doesn’t include these insane dealer costs in their cost of ownership which makes it a lie of omission. On top of that if you tell them your changing your own oil they harp about keeping records and receipts otherwise it could void your warranty. More scare t... read more
