Go for the tea, stay for the robe The more I get my hair cut at Gene Juarez and the more I talk to others who do, the more I realize that it's a more luxerious twin of most hair salons. Great Haircut I used to think that hair stylists were pretty much all the same, or at least that it wasn't necessary to go to a high priced salon to get a quality cut. However, after trying Gene Juarez I have noticed a real difference. I second that emotion I don't have broad experience with spas and massages, but Gene Juarez does the trick. I used to be very timid about the whole thing, not sure what to expect. The Gene Juarez folks helped me get over that, and fast. It's time well spent.

The Seattle standby The downtown location is the "fanciest" yet not too overwhelming. My husband always goes here for massages, pedicures and manicures. Relax and Enjoy!

It's a factory, but it's not bad I go to the Northgate Gene Juarez. It definitely feels like a factory, with lots of people being moved in and out very quickly. But I get a nice $35 haircut there and I can't complain about that. Plus, it's in the mall so I usually take some time out before or after to walk around. It's not bad.

My Genie in a Bottle Gene Juarez will take away all your tensions. It's a little bit of heaven, a break from the absolute chaos of downtown Seattle. Just get past the millions of protestors and pettitioners, and you can spend an entire day with your head in the soft sand of this amazing salon. Snobs I have found Gene Juarez to be snobby, impatient, and generally hold a "customer is always wrong" attitude. I tried them twice and both times I was made to feel like they were doing me a huge favor by allowing me to potentiallly pay for their services.

After my hair had been washed the stylist looked at my hair and said "I think you will look great with the Jennifer Aniston cut". I then told the stylist that I didn't like her haircut.
