Fair Spa My maid of honor and I went there for my pre-wedding pampering and I did not really enjoy it much at all. it wasn't a place that truly pampers their customers, it was more like churn and burn. It's fine for a typical manicure or pedicure, that type of thing, but not if you are looking to feel relaxed in a serene environment.

Great Eyebrow Shaping - open early and late While I haven't been there for any other services, the eyebrow shaping is superb. The downtown location is convenient, clean, and lovely. A true urban retreat. My favorite thing about Gene Juarez however, is the hours. They're open both early in the morning and late in the evening. Luxury and Pampering is at its best! I don't mind paying extra to get my hair cut at Gene Juarez. They treat you so well here! Not to mention, my hair always looks great! From their drinks when you come in, to the robes, and the head massage, this is a great customer friendly spot. Their spa pedicures are great as well. And the atmosphere is top notch.

How unfortunate for me to find the Gene Juarez Salon. While it is modeled after "Frederic Fekkai" Salons, it is just a "wannabe", inexperienced version of it. The Balayage Colorists are the worst. The Salon looks nice and dressed up, and eveyone is in black like hairdressers. I gace the girl my vision. I spoke slowly, and wasn't sure if she goy what i was saying. I should have left. that was my intution. Anyway it was un even, which I don't mind if that is what I wanted, but it was no where near the caliber of what i wanted. I think this used to actually be a good place to get hair...

When you learn at their Advanced Training Salon, they make it sound like you are sooo priveleged. The propaganda they feed you as to how great it will be once you start working for them is outrages!! I know, I've been there!! I also have made friends with others at various GJ's and they feel the same way. They are sooooo sorry that they fell for it and are stuck in their bogus contract. ...
