My childhood yaya (nanny) was transferred to Golden Pavillion for rehabilitation therapy after discharge from Seton Medical. She is 86 years old. Upon her occupancy she was received with kind and gentle care by the staff from the moment she arrived. Great experience with Golden Pavilion Healthcare. The staff was professional and attentive and the facility was clean and organized. Overall, making the whole experience comfortable and positive.

I've enjoyed working here as a staff member. The management really cares about both the patients and the staff, and they try their best to stay responsive to the needs of residents and their families. The team works hard every day to create a caring environment for everyone.

A year in, no more Chinese speaking assistants. There are a few patients who speak Cantonese. There is areas where elders gather. The staff is a bit busy, so the feeding times might be affected.

Came here to tour and although we ended up not needing SNF for my aunt, I was impressed by the admission's thorough explanation of how a skilled nursing facility operates. The building was clean and the staff was welcoming. If that time comes for my aunt to need a nursing facility for rehab, I'd choose Golden Pavilion

My grandmother was sent here after her recent hospitalization. She was here for a month. Not only was it close in location to our family to visit but staff was so supportive throughout the whole process. We were always greeted whenever we came to visit and my grandmother had no complaints! She didn't even want to leave from the exceptional care they had provided her. Thankful for the team who took care of her and sent her home stronger and more confident at home!

My family brought my uncle to golden pavilion for rehab and my family experienced nothing but the best care and support from their team. From admission to discharge everything went smoothly. I can't recommend a better place to rehab a loved one.

While the place is in the city I found staff to be so accommodating. The administrator Be greets everyone with a smile and follows up on the smallest details . New director of nursing is always available as well Staff seem overall happy with what they do . Finding a long term care facility that "does it right" is few and far between . Many committed and loving staff in that building .

Do NOT send your loved one here if you want unsupportive, uncommunicative case workers who prioritize making money vs. advocating for you, just to be kicked out with nowhere to go last minute and scammed to pay out of pocket for a few days. It's eye opening how many reviewers have described this same exact process our family went through. My mother was barely walking (she couldn't even take 2 steps) and when we appealed and got denied, the paperwork I received later from the assessor showed that GP's therapists had advised ... read more
