Gray Epperson offers parts through their website HyundaiPartFinder.com and doesn't even audit what they're offering vs what they're selling. They charge you to ship parts to you, and charge you again to ship the wrong parts back. DO NOT USE THEM, there are better providers out there who stand on business. I can't imagine they're any better about the vehicles they sell when they won't even cover a $20 shipping charge after admitting it was their fault.
service dept is rude...my wife brought our 2023 tucson there for oil change and she told lady that there was a ticking sound coming from the engine and the service tech told her that is was her bracelet around the gear shift....the bracelet was a hair bow....haha....engine is still ticking
This Hyundai dealership has a terrible sales department. I recently purchased a Santa Fe not through them because they wouldn't work with another dealership to get the color we wanted. I had to have a repair and spent $500 in their service department with great service by them. I decided to ask the sales people 3 questions about the features in my new car that I just couldn't find in the manual. Liars, cheats, failed to send recall notice, when I took it there they tried to deny that my car was their problem, finally got them to fix it and they broke my air conditioner. Took it back and they said it was not their fault it was the compressor out. Had a different mechanic look at it today and those idiots didn’t even plug the compressor in so OF COURSE it didn’t get power…. And then they had the nerve at Hyundai to tell me it would be over $1000 to replace the compressor THEY FAILED TO PLUG IN….
We purchased a 2017 Hyundai Tucson on 3/31/23. The following morning 4/1/23 I started the car and noticed a strong gas smell and it leaked half a tank of gas in our yard. The fuel line connector was broken, the dealership claims it was from the “low pressure line”. It was towed back to the dealership on 4/3/23 and an employee drove it back to us after they “fixed” it the following day. apparently running a car without oil or antifreeze won't hurt it.... they caused my motor to go out and refuse to take responsibility... got lied to from the start... they r crooks!! had to pay for another motor and only had the car about 6 months.
Dealership still charging $5,000 to $10,000 in dealer mark up fees even after corporate sent email to all dealers in February to stop this. Make sure to check around, there are plenty of dealers not violating this rule (ex long hyundai of chattanooga)
maybe if someone makes an appointment to get a specific part replaced, have that part in stock before they show up?
