I had a lot of questions, as this was all new to me and I felt like each question I raise was answered to the fullest. Herm has been contacting me for quite some time now to see if my needs had changed and wanted me to know he was there whenever I was ready to pursue Griswald Home Care for my Mom. Shannon was very comforting with her words and can relate with my situation. I only met one caregiver (Lily) and she followed all my instruction to a tee. We started out with a Live In Nurse (Pam) which did not work out. We understood she was allowed by law 8 hours of sleep time, however, we did not know she would go to bed and not attend to my father until she woke in the morning. He had gotten out of bed on a number of occasions and was found on the floor in the morning. At one point we had to call the fire department to help get him back in bed as Pam was unable. We also have a caregiver from a different company who stays with my father. While that caregiver has been satisfactory, their office staff isn't as helpful and responsive as Shannon has been from day 1. And Marie (from Griswold) Is outstanding! She takes care of every personal and household need she observes, without being asked. One day she noticed that my dad's nails were getting a bit long, and she cleaned them thoroughly and clipped them. If bedding or towels need to be washed, she does it.
