I’m not sure Guy Roofing can be trusted to live up to verbal agreements. When I signed my last contract, I had thought Guy Roofing based their quotes on labor cost plus material cost plus fixed fees. When I had them out for a second repair job over a two month period, I found out I was wrong. Their pricing policies seemed unfair. I gave them a bad rating on ****** and the BBB. I also wrote a letter to Jeff G**. On 6/25, Brandon T******* called to discuss my reviews. He explained that my cost included a minimum call charge of... read more

Avoid Guy Roofing at all cost! The workmanship is shotty and they deny everything about the workmanship they’ve done. We have been left with thousands of dollars in damage due to their pathetic workmanship! I should’ve consulted my insurance company before using them because she stated there are numerous complaints against that company. Please do yourself a favor and stay clear of them.

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your concerns and appreciate the opportunity to respond. We installed your roof over 8 years ago and completed a roof tune-up just last year, at which time no issues were brought to our attention. This recent concern is the first we’ve heard since completing the work. While we do not believe the critters entering your home are a result of our roofing work, we understand that over time, homes can develop vulnerabilities—and if critters want to get in, they often find a wa... read more

Our insurance company hired them to replace our roof. Two estimates later we were given the all good to replace. May of 2024 they replaced our roof after agreeing to the amount we were getting from our insurance company. When finished the price went up by 4000 dollars. Not having that kind of money laying around we were forced to having a lien put on the house until we could pay it. I called about transfering the warranty when the house is sold and was told it was not available. My insurance company was even surprised and no... read more

Business response:

Dear Mr. Bajzik, Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We apologize for any confusion regarding the total amount owed for your roofing project. It appears the misunderstanding may stem from the insurance policy’s details rather than our project invoice. Our billing process aligns with the approved insurance estimate and includes the roofing-related items completed during the project. In your case, this included line items 1–6 and 8–16 from the original estimate dated April 18, 2024. In addition, the invoice ... read more

Hi Mr Willams, Guy Roofing was supposed to replace 4 boots, the board that was wet from where the boot was leaking, shingle that section, paint inside stain and replacing the vent cap on the chimney. However the only thing that was done was boots replaced. She was charged over $4000 and never gave her a contracted. She went to Guy Roofing in Cowpens SC to try to get answers but was told everyone was in a meeting.

Business response:

Ms. ******* service was completed in accordance with the signed contract. We met with her in person to discuss her concerns and reached a mutually agreeable resolution.

The consultant seems friendly enough. I have 0 confidence in their workers as they have been out 3 times in the past 12 months to fix a roof leak, and every time we get rain, it still leaks. I now have mold in my attic and on my ceiling. Charged 4300 dollars for a roof "rehab" as art of the supposed repair, that still fails. The cost is severely over priced for the quality of work that was done.

Crooks or clowns. I hired Guy Roofing to install one run of copper gutters on the back of my house. Their quote was ~$11K to install less than $2K of materials for a gutter with two downspouts. I was assured that they were experts and promised a topnotch job. Instead they sent two guys who spent one day here and the result is horrible. They used the incorrect hangers for the job and tried to jerry rig the installation which damaged the copper dripedge everywhere they mounted them. The hangers had to be bent because they were... read more

We had our fascia replaced in January 2024. After the previous Storm that came through September 25 & 26 2024. We had one piece to come loose and bent. Called Guy Roofing who originally replaced the fascia. Wanted to charge us 2000. dollars to replace one piece. Said it was not under warranty and considered this to be a act of God. Considering we paid almost $4000. dollars on replacing the fascia. I would advise anyone to not be taken advantage of.

Our roof was replaced by Guy Roofing in 2018 due to hail damage. After six years, we had a severe storm and water was dripping on the inside of the fireplace in our living room. Went up in the attic and noticed the roof had other areas that had been leaking over time. We called Guy Roofing to come out to look at the leaks on the inside. The representative took pictures of the roof on top of the house to show us that the roof shingles are OK that it was not causing the leak. After two years, it was out of warranty and Guy Roo... read more
