I took my 3 y/o cat, Soda, to see Dr. Brown today for a UTI and they were great! The whole process was wonderful, from scheduling to the office visit, as well as checkout. I just think the entire staff is great. It was obvious to me that the staff genuinely loves animals, and I felt very confident that they were attentive to Soda's needs. They tested Soda for possible issues and gave her an antibiotic and we're currently waiting on a urine culture to come back. Dr. Brown was very thorough, and explained things easily. I took my blue point siamese to see Dr.Howell and the nurses and the doc was super sweet, they really seemed to care about his well being. Dr. Howell listened to my concerns and that means a lot.

We found two German Shepherd pups during a snowstorm. They had been on their own for a while based on their size. Dr. Reed estimated their age at 9 weeks. She gave them thorough exams and lots of love. She also gave me, who had never had a dog because of allergies, much needed support and advice. Einstein and his sister, Artemis, have been cared for by Dr. Reed and the staff at Helmwood ever since. My "pups" are now 5 years old and they love seeing Dr. Reed. She's a wonderful veterinarian.
