Probably a 5, mom is really enjoying her dinners! So far no complaints. Biggest thing is she really doesn't have any complaints!

Your host in guiding me was very helpful. I was told something on this property that have not happened. But she is safe and happy at the moment. Hope she doesn't out grow it. The dining has been a struggle with maybe 3 cooks since she moved in April. I know it has been a company change but the food should be the star...Her location is key for me and family. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Her room is perfect for her needs. With laundry and bed cleaning

Heron Point is just fantastic. Love the spacious apartment. Staff is very thoughtful and attentive. The chef and meals are excellent. Programs are varied and fun and the residents are thoughtful and welcoming and we do have a few vacancies. I would give each category a 5.

Overall the facility is lovely. There is a new company that just purchased the facility and now it is Heron Point. Time will tell. All in all the facility is beautiful and hoping services will be better., services and food could use some attention and optimistic about new owners.

The Regency changed hands and became Heron Point shortly after mom got there and tried to settle in. With no children close by, things were tricky. Just when we started to learn the routine and who to talk to about things, many of the staff left and new people took over. Food went downhill, maintenance contact was let go, there was no cleaning staff…it was a mess. After 4 months, things have slowly gotten better but it’s honestly been hard. My mom is very active but after my dad passed she quit cooking, cleaning and socializing. Heron Point was exactly what she needed. I am so glad I can be the son again and stop worrying about mom because she was shrinking away and she is always busy.

I am about to move in to Regency Park. I received a great introduction to this lovely facility by the special lady in charge of showing the property. Not only did I find it a bright and cheerful place but she took care to introduce me to a number of residents. They all were friendly and seemed happy to be living there. She even arranged a delicious luncheon with them. I had visited several other independent facilities and was only introduced to staff. It really made a difference to me to meet residents. The food was great, but chef is no longer there and it's gone down hill. There have been lots of complaints. Other than that, I think Regency Park is very good. I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and family, but there is always room for improvement.

The housekeeping is supposed to be once a week and it hasn't been happening. This also includes the linens and making the bed for my loved one. I have spoken to the front desk and this isn't getting resolved for my loved one as I had hoped. The maintenance guy is fantastic. The staff is good to work with any questions or concerns I may have about my loved one.
