My family moved to Scottsdale in 2006 Dr Roseanke and Dr Council took excellent care of my standard poodle, Ashley, and my love my miniature Poodle, Bellagia (Bella). My Bellagia won Best in Show in Portland, OR, in 1993 I believe. When she came to live with us, she turned into a "real" dog!! My sweet Bella passed this past Monday, June 4. My family and I have been clients at Hillside for over 12 years now and I absolutely will not take my pets anywhere else but here! My dogs have always loved coming to the vet to see Dr. Council and I can't thank them enough for being so compassionate and taking the time to answer all of our questions before checking out. I have been taking my pets here for 12 years. Cats & Dogs. The quality of care and compassion is unsurpassed. In those 12 years I have lost 4 cats and 1 dog and the staff at Hillside and especially Dr. Counsel was so supportive. I moved and have to travel farther to get there but I will never take my pets to another Vet. If your pets are family members like ours, you should take them to Hillside!
My wife and I have been taking our beloved animals to Hillside for over a decade. It simply does not get any better. Dr. Rosonke and Dr. Council are amazing! I would be posting all day if I covered the numerous times they have stepped in to provide amazing care to our pets and/or sound guidance to us. After a decade, I'm still learning new reasons why my husband and I go exclusively to this animal hospital. We think we are observant and take superb care of our six animal companions. Yet today, when I dropped Kismet, one of our aging Italian Greyhounds, off for a dental cleaning, Dr. Nicola Council and veterinary technician, Heidi, noticed a swelling and discoloration in his left eye which was ultimately found to be a corneal ulcer, and a skin disorder that turned out to be a bacterial infection. Dr. Candice Emerson has been the saving factor in my dear rescue dog's life. She has consistently diagnosed and treated medical needs with accuracy. And from day one, she has accommodated to the individual personality needs of Barrett. Recently, Dr. Council operated on our dog. A small tumor had grown under her lip on the side of her chin. The surgical result was excellent! Our pup did well, and the lesion was benign, I am glad to say. We greatly admire the quality of the surgical skill Dr Council displayed. We strongly recommend her both for her surgical skill, her management of our dog's general pet care and her communication with us
The BEST veterinary care in all the land! Truly cannot ask for a more compassionate, dedicated, intelligent, and astute staff. Dr. Council is amazing and extremely thorough. We have three Labradors, each with very specific needs. The care we receive from Hillside undoubtedly contributes to a prolonged and healthy life. I would be a patient at Hillside if they saw humans!
