I had limited space for a printer and finally found this model. I was also tired of buying ink cartridges because the prices kept going up. So when my HP printer finally died I purchased this one from Walmart. The price in the store was $109 but when I showed them the price on their website, I got the printer for $74. This is the best simple laser printer that you can buy. Automatically duplexes copies! But you can switched to single side. Great Wi-Fi technology. All for around $75 (a toner cartridge included)!! We had a non-WiFi one previously from 6-7 years ago. This one is cheaper than the previous one and is much slicker. Walmart had a better price than monster Amazon.
Excellent B/W Laser printer, it was easy to set up on my WiFi network via the on screen menus, the drivers for Windows via the Brother's website where a piece of cake, it even did an automatic firmware update over WiFi which is nice. it plays nicely with my Chrome OS devices although lacking the monitoring software features of Windows(that's a given for most every printer that works on Chrome/Chromium OS), it holds a good amount of paper in the tray, and best of all if you know where to look toner is cheap for this laser pri... read more
Great printer ! Sets up in a min and prints from all my devices flawlessly! I have two other brother printers they last forever! You can't beat the price for a printer especially a laser one !

Standard toner printer nothing special nothing negative
Worked with 2 of my 3 devices. Worked seamlessly with the Brother iPrint app and with the Chome browser. However Brother's instructions for setting it up with the CUPS print server on Linux do _not_ work.
Easy setup with one button push on router and printer. Air print for all our Apple devices... Google cloud print isn't available on this model????
