The setup was really easy. I ran the CD and used the quick start guide and it setup well and saw my router and connected to it. I had a printer cable (it doesn't come with one.) I unplugged it when the on screen directions on my desktop.
Easy to install and easy to maintain. This is my third brother. I have been using them for years and all have been great. They do have a life. After a long time printing the drum eventually gives out. You can usually reset it once, but at some point the printing will get poor. Mine lasted about 5 years and I print a lot. The reason I am on my third one is that I can get a drum for about $100 . I can get a brand new printer with updated features for $80 so go figure. Print quality is excellent and fast. nice and small footprint. Their instructions to setup printer for wireless setup was a bit lacking. But their support was very helpful in getting my printer to link up to my router for a wireless connection. Have not used the printer too much but so far it prints great and good clean print out. My family used to buy ink jet printers because they are usually so much cheaper. But unless your a student or have a business where you are printing at least a few times a week, better to get a laser printer which doesn't dry up. Bye ... read more
