This is a good basic printer, if you just need black & white printing. It comes with starter Ink cartridge, which is available for 700 pages of print, a setup CD, manual, and guide. The front drawer has room for 250 sheets of paper and can print on both sides. It was very easy to set-up, taking only 15 minutes from box to print. I wasn't so sure I would like this Brother HL-L2315DW laser printer when I received it because it was a bit of a job for me to get it set up. There isn't any instruction book included. You receive a toner cartridge, CD to install the driver, a nice sized booklet which is unfortunately just safety information and the quick set up guide. This is a perfect printer. I am a college student and previously had a wifi, color, ink printer. I realized that the only things I print are course packs, materials, study guides, practice exams, excel layouts, and airplane ticketry. My studio is all wireless, so wireless printing is a must. The wireless functionality of this printer is flawless. I can print from my phone, iPad, and laptop all no problem barely any set up at all. The Brother Black and White Printer with duplex and wireless is saving me money. I use it to print all my documents. It was easy to setup and use the first time. I was shocked by how quiet it is when printing. The front and back printing feature is a bonus. It's not big and bulky and fits in a small space. It turn on through my laptop so I don't get the sorry print not responding boxes any more. I just click print and it goes to work.
I am over the moon about this printer. The first thing I will mention is that it does not come with a wire to connect the printer directly to the computer, if this is something that bothers you, this is not for you. When setting up, it is not very difficult. You have the option to set it up by adding the drivers via CD Rom or, if your computer does not have a disk drive like mine, you can download them from the internet. This Brother HL-L2315DW laser printer is a compact, solid printer, black in color. It was very easy to set up and connect wirelessly to my laptop computer as there is only one cord. It requires a toner cartridge that came with it, is easy to insert, and seems to last a long time for someone who uses it with a home computer. The printer only prints in black and white. The Brother Black and White Laser Printer with Duplex and Wireless is an excellent printer for the home office. If you have need of color printouts this is not the printer for you. However if black and white is the majority of your printing, you couldn't do better. The printing is crisp and clear. It is very easy to use. THIS PRINTER IS A LITTLE SMALLER THAN THE AVERAGE PRINTER; IT'S ALSO A QUICK PRINTER AS WELL. IT DOES DOUBLE SIDED WHICH IS GOOD, YOU SAVE PAPER AND I NOTICED IT HAS REALLY HIGH QUALITY PRINTS. This Brother printer is great. Setup was very simple. Remove protective items, play the CD for instructions on installation and use. If you have no CD rom, read the alternate instructions. The printer is a full sized desktop laserjet printer. The printer comes with a short use toner cartridge. The owner needs to plan on purchasing a full use cartridge.
