Good printer Very nice printer
Well worth the money When my HL-3170 decided to go on strike, I had to upgrade to something that can handle the print load. This printer prints clean, fast, and beautiful. The best part is... it auto update its own firmware once it connected to wifi and laptop/phones/ipad connect is a cinch.
Some colors are misaligned Prints some colors misaligned. Calibration setting doesn't seem to do anything. Have tried to contact Brother without results.
Love this printer! Up until recently, all I've ever used is an inkjet printer. However, I've started a small business and needed to make labels for the products I sell. After combing over many reviews here on Amazon, I decided on this one. This printer does a great job - and the labels look very professional. I LOVE this printer I cannot tell you how much I love this printer. Well, actually, I can. That's the point of this review, yes? I've had it for two years now, I use it ALL the time, and I am JUST now getting my first "Low toner" warnings. It is SO much faster and less expensive than an inkjet. I Really Like This Printer Although I had a bit of trouble getting it to print Duplex (had to download a different driver), it's now working great. Quiet, fast printing, and the print quality is top quality. I printed a couple of pictures that were in color and they were nice, too. I do love the sleep mode.
Excellent value for color laser. I use this to print menus and flyers. I even bought the extra paper tray. The duplexing is perfect and it prints fast.
Total printer failure This had been one of my favorite printers ever, and I've been buying printers since 1982 when I bought a Radio Shack daisy wheel printer for $2000. I bought the printer in Dec of 2017 and have used it quite a bit and I still have about half of the original ink left. However, a month ago the printer would not power on. In talking to a repair center, they said there was a tech bulletin that came out in Sep 2018 alerting them to this issue.
