Have been asking for over a year to get things fixed and I have had to fight tooth and nail to get anywhere. Still issues and still not fixed. Very frustrated. I pd alot of money for this house and am so disappointed in promises not kept. Wish I had bought elsewhere.

If you want to have someone argue with you on every aspect then choose Holt homes. There is no quality when it comes to Holt Homes. Kitchen sink continuously rusts from the get go, report it in the walk through they tell me its normal and they won't change it. My fireplace is a fire hazzard, heats up the mantel so hot after only a few minutes. Water heater leaking, had to change out my garage mats, I tell them the issue at the one year they tell me I need proof, a video of it leaking. Anything I brought up at the walk thro... read more

Avoid building with Holt Home! Absolutely poor quality. We have nails coming up from the floors and the steps causing wounds on us and the kids, lights pulsating, breakers flipping and shutting of the refrigerators and BBQ, foundation issues that Holt is refusing to address, trim discoloration, moisture that builds up in the dryer exhaust which causes moisture in the drywall. By far the absolute worst home buying experience I've ever encountered. If what you're looking for is 4 walls with a roof you'll do just fine with them. If your expectations are more than this buyers beware. It is almost laughable that they can hand you keys in this condition. July 2022 purchase - REGRETTABLY

The house is beautiful however having Holt respond to warranty work has been a joke ! We have had standing water against our foundation since we bought the house. We were told to wait until we have 72 hours without rain to submit a ticket. We did that in May and we're told two weeks it is still not complete and told to wait until September, almost 5 months ! These people are pumping out houses at the expense of quality. You do a walk through prior to completion of the sale. This is where you inspect for damages, quality issues, etc. They fixed maybe 20% of what we marked up. The overall craftsmanship is horrible - flimsy cabinetry, cheap looking finishes and their colors make the entire neighborhood look worn out after only a year. We don't even have our house built yet. The latest "update" has just pushed the estimated completion back by another month, for a total 5-month delay. So far. I'm dreading what other problems to expect. We've been deceived, stalled, ignored. I'm not sure I even want to live in the house if it ever gets done.

On December 15, 2020 I had a home inspection done for my newly constructed Holt Home. The inspection report came back with 5 SAFETY ISSUES, 4 MAJOR CONCERNS and 18 items needing attention. An email was sent to Holt Homes stating I would not be closing or doing a final walk the next day as scheduled.
