Dr. Pollack is the best. If you have a retinal tear, you want Dr. Pollack to treat it. I have been lasered by 2 other doctors. Dr. Pollack uses a different technique that is easier on the eye (for me, a rigid gas permeable contact lens wearer) and enables him to get to hard to reach spots.

I strongly recommandet Dr John Pollack and staf ( is very professional and hospitable). Dr John gives the impression of a very competent doctor, close to simple and clear explantations. The long time I spent in prison for political reasons (over 10 years) have certainly left consequence on my helth. The man is the very best at what he does.
I was seeing shadows in my peripheral vision so my eye Doc recommended I see Dr Pollack. As I expected I had a partial retinal tear and Dr Pollack recommended a Vitrectomy. I, like everyone probably, was not too thrilled at the prospect of having things stuck inside my eyeball and I was obviously worried about losing my sight in that eye so I was obviously a bit nervous.
