Dr. Akhtar saw me for the first time and identified the problem with my hip and knee. He takes time to answer questions and have plan for my hip. My pain is now under control. I look forward to hip replacement.
Dr Akhtar replaced both my hips and I couldn’t be happier. He answers all your questions and makes you feel at ease. I highly recommend Dr Akhtar.
I have had several appointments with Dr. Akhtar for tibial stress fracture and knee pain, and each time I have been impressed with the time he took to really understand what was going on. Although it took an hour for him to see me this last time, I was fine with that because I knew he would spend the time I needed...and he did! (All previous appointments had wait times of less than 15 minutes.)

Had an issue with hip pain and had met with Dr. Akhtar before several times. He is a good listener, and after asking questions and examining clearly explains options for treatment. I like the fact that he is not quick to recommend an invasive procedure. And he is never in a rush.
Went in for my Chronic bursitis, Dr. Akhtar is attentive, professional and honest - gave me his opinion, we discussed and then he ordered an MRI. I am very pleased.
