Dr. Akhtar is in tune with his patients above and beyond. He spoke to me on a level that made me feel like he truly cares about his patients. He listens well, and does not make you feel like you are being pushed through the system quickly. Can not say enough on my initial experience with him.

I did not have to wait long to be seen by the doctor and he was able to explain to me what is wrong with me..very pleasant and how long it will take for my knee to heal..
Dr Akhtar seemed bored and very rushed during my appointment. Maybe my condition wasn’t interesting enough for him. Basically he said you have three options: cortisone, surgery, or nothing and when I chose nothing he was ready to leave without even asking if I had any questions.
I was disappointed with his professionalism. I felt like he didn’t want to hear what I was telling him. He never took the time to ask me questions. I thought it was a rushed visit. I was having concerns about my hip and wanted an x-ray of my hip due to a prior surgery that was done by an affiliate of this practice. He just did my knees and gave me a cortisone injection and sent me on my way. Sent me for an MRI,and never followed up on the results, didn’t help me whatsoever with the pain I was in,I had bursitis in my right hip.
