Nice older hotel, clean, bed not the greatest but doable (only one night stay for us) staff friendly, good restaurant

We had a one bedroom suite booked for four people with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was not made up and I had to call down for linens andt make the bed myself.

The price, location, and airport shuttle is good. The building could use some repairs and it would have been nice if staff was not vacuuming near 1a.m. As I value sleep over cleanliness at that time in the morning.

Anchorage clasic The Inlet Tower is a long time Anchorage classic. Over the years, it has been upgraded, but it’s age will show. The rooms are basic, & generally clean. It is a busy hotel in the summer months due to it’s pricing. Hotels in Anchorage take advantage of the summer months. Bargains can be found at this hotel. It is a fair walk to downtown. The restaurant is decent. Close by is the trendy New Sagaya market & also Fire Island Rustic Bakery. It is a good base to explore from.
