The facility is clean. They seem to have elevator issues often. Less than two months into our rental, they increased the price from $94 to $174. That is outrageous bait and switching. They should have a class action lawsuit against them.

This is for the ********************************************* location.DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. I recently had several items stolen from my unit, totaling ~$400. When I filled out the police report, the officers who arrived mentioned that they were just there a few days prior for another burglary. The strange thing about my situation is that the lock was COMPLETELY intact and worked fine. I only noticed things were missing once I started looking for items. They bait you with a Low rate then after two months, your rent doubles. They do it to everyone.

Their rental pricing is bait and switch. My unit in ******* was rented to me for 65 dollars. 4 months later they doubled this to 126. If I had known this up front, I would not have used this provider, nor would I have paid the initiation and lock fees. I feel deceived by the lack of transparency. The discount provided up front should be clear, and the actual rate going forward and when it takes effect should be disclosed and agreed upfront. RATS. RATS. AND MORE RATS I began renting in April 2023 and by June. I asked the general manager **** if they had a rat problem? She said no we have a mouse problem. I went into my storage unit and heard squeaking like a rat. I ran out of there. I went and told **** theres something inside of my storage unit and the door does not close properly. she said she would have somebody reseal the door. I've been a customer for 1 year and they plan to price increase me twice. I understand the first 100% price increase was probably because of the promotional rate for when I signed up for service. Now they're going to price increase me by 34% stating market conditions are causing the "adjustment". There's no justification for a 34.6% price increase. You can't explain it using inflation, labor, maintenance, property tax, rent etc. There's no way that any combination of these things would add up to a 34.6% increase in my rate. ... read more

New and prospective renters should be aware of two things about Extra Space Storage. First, they will give you a good deal for a couple of months and then make a huge increase in your monthly rent. Second, even if you tell them you will use your own padlock, they will leave one anyway. If you return it right away, they say they will give you a credit. But, being busy moving your items, if you ASSUME you will get a refund when you move out, you will be wrong. Their policy is to not give refunds or credits on your credit card.... read more

As an employee we are supposed to feel safe and comfortable at jobs however , A customer visited my previous workplace regarding a bill scheduled for auction. RUN FROM THIS PLACE! They treat people like crap! He experienced a tornado that caused damage to the property. The way they treated ** and continue to treat us is horrifying, CLASS ACTION HORRIFYING.
