Dr. Balart is always pleasant and friendly. He takes time to listen and explain everything. He is professional at all times yet personable.
Dr. Balart knew that I needed to be seen quickly, and was able to squeeze me in. He explained everything clearly, and set a path to get me fixed up.
He is a very good communicator. He also responds quickly to discuss any test results. He engages his patients and not rushed.
Explained my options due to being 80 years old, but assured me we would reach the decision together, which we did.

After my colonoscopy with my regular BRC gastro, I needed help with the recovery on the weekend. Dr Balart was very patient and listened to my description of the situation and what I had tried to remedy the problem. He carefully explained WHY what I was doing wouldn't help and offered alternatives. We came up with a good plan to try an OTC product first, and he called in an Rx as a backup.
