From New Orleans it was on to Alabama where he performed a three year residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, completing his program in 2004. Dr Balart is polite, funny and down to earth. Seems to love his job and cares very much for his patients. He answered all of my questions and concerns in a way that was easy for me to understand. He did not act in a hurried manner and was very attentive during the visit.
