J-Prime seems to be a trendy place to be in North San Antonio, and was quite lively. Although the noise level was quite high to the point of making it difficult to have a conversation without shouting, the food was excellent; properly cooked, perfectly seasoned and tasty. The wait staff, while very friendly and accommodating, could use a bit more training on how to properly wait a table in what is ostensibly an up-market restaurant. Having said that, our evening was a pleasant experience. Will dine here again.
Overall, the experience at J-Prime Steakhouse was excellent. The dinner was paced very well. They provided an amuse bouche to start the palate. We had the lobster bites as a starter. They were deliciously buttery. Our mains were the American Wagyu NY strip, cooked perfectly to medium rare, and the Chilean sea bass. The steak was amazing. Very flavorful and tender. Our entire experience was top notch as always. From the moment you enter to the moment you exit. The management and staff are so professional and work in unison on everything. Food was prepared as ordered and came in a timely manner. World class experience! Highly recommend this restaurant to all!!
Had a fabulous time, getting greeted soon as you walk in. The atmosphere of the room and the smile that’s given to you. I felt like true princess for my birthday, the food was divine and hot. Will come again
