Knowledgeable, efficient & no nonsense!
I went to see Dr. Frederic about a keratosis on my face that had recently appeared after a burn. He discussed sunscreens and how to maximize protection from the sun while working in Arizona. He took care of the keratosis and decided to biopsy a mole on my back, which was a melanoma. He called right away, and excised the melanoma the next working day. His manner is courteous and professional, but not jovial. He found the melanoma that had recently been missed, and that is what is most important!
Dr. Frederic is courteous, professional and thoughtful. The diagnosis is allergic contact dermatitis. There are too many causes, so Dr. Frederic printed them out for my reference and told me what's the next step if not getting better after the treatment. He prescribed me hydrocortisone cream, twice a day, also a refill, just in case it happens again, no need to cost another visit. That's very thoughtful. Really appreciate. And the cream works well on my itchy swollen rashes.
Terrible experience and a wasted $100 to be told he does not believe in cream treatment for mulloscum and refused to prescribe an ointment that helps my daughters condition.
I will never return to Dr. Frederic. Over the years, he has treated my scalp psoriasis and has become less concerned with my issues and more concerned with getting me in and out quickly. I see him every few months for topical scalp treatment, he seems annoyed often with staff and me also. Today he would not see me for my appointment that I unfortunately was 12 mins late for. I tried to call to inform and was unable to get thru to a nurse. All traffic lights for a busy street I was using as my main mode of transit to the clin... read more
Efficient. Most likely very knowledgeable but completely lacking in interpersonal skills.
No. Would not recommend him. Felt he was dismissive and unconcerned.
Dr Frederick performed an excision of a cancerous lesion on my scalp. I experienced complications within a week: pain, fever, spontaneous bleeding from the site of surgery. I returned to Dr. Frederick. Upon examination, he informed me my surgical site “looked perfectly normal” and sent me home. My symptoms and complications persisted. I visited a different dermatologist on an urgent basis who biopsied the incised and sent it to the lab. The results were positive for infection. I was put on a course of antibiotics by the seco... read more
Dr Frederic did not listen to or care about anything I had to say. His only concern was getting me to leave in the shortest time possible. Don’t waste your time, find anyone else
