Delivery was very late......after 6 PM. Flowers had been in truck all day....wilted. Very disappointing. When I asked why so late since the day was over already, response was "I had to make 25 deliveries today" I guess she decided to make mine the last one. You would think they would be better prepared for the busiest flower day of the year!
Very poor customer service and planning on the part of this company. I ordered flowers on February 4th for Valentine's Day and had them sent to a business. Waited around almost all day on Feb 14th and then called to ask where they were. The lady on the phone basically said they'd been shipped at noon (which is very late -- I've done this a few times with other flower delivery services and they always shipped first thing in the morning with a 10-day notice), and that they were "guaranteed by 5pm." Talk about bait and switch! They advertise a code for free delivery between certain dates, then when you wait until the proper date to take advantage of the code, they tell you it's already over. What a crock. Talk about misleading advertising. I wouldn't buy a corncob from these people. Totally lacking in integrity. Rude... Rude...Rude As an out of town funeral home, I was trying to help a family locally with a FTD / Telafloral / On Line arrangement that was errantly sent to the funeral home with a wrong ribbon. Not impressed. Ordered flowers from here for my mom's 70th birthday because I wanted to support a local business and I use to work right down the street from Jennie's. I easily selected my flowers from the website and placed my order. I even upgraded from the picture shown on the website to a fuller version of the bouquet. Jennie's flower....false advertising!!!!! Ad says $14.99, but when I was done with my purchase it was up to $36.84 so the $14.99 became $24.99 plus delivery charge and who knows what. I was okay with it. I still accepted my order. Five hours later, someone called me from 813-471-1108 number, and they demanded more money? Are they running a scam or what? Frustrated with Jennie's--they did not have the selection I picked online, and called me and said they did not have flowers in my price range and would have to charge me more money for upgraded flowers. I am fine with paying for flowers, but the ones that I picked out and at my price range. If you can't deliver what you promised me in my order, at least offer a complimentary upgrade even if it is minimal. Don't make the customer pay for your inability to meet demand!
Honestly, I've purchased flowers from the side of road/Wal-Mart/grocery stores that were prettier and lasted longer than Jennie's Flowers (and way less expensive). And to top it all off... Jennie's Flowers is managed by employees (and a manager named Pat Martinez) that don't have an ounce of empathy or customer service skills. I'll never set foot in that place again. The people are rude, delivery is slow and did not deliver the flowers that I ordered...total rip off!
