We had a delightful experience dining at Joey Burrard. We were greeted with an offer of a glass of Prosecco while we had a short wait to be seated. Our server, Abby, greeted us warmly and answered our questions. We told her we were in a bit of a rush, and our order came out ten minutes later! Our server stopped by only a couple of times throughout the meal and never checked to see if we wanted another beverage or a refill. We also were never offered dessert. Overall, she seemed disengaged and uninterested, which made the service feel inattentive and took away from what was otherwise an enjoyable dining experience.

We came to Joey yesterday to celebrate our son’s 17th birthday and were absolutely blown away by the service. We’ve loved coming to Joey for special occasions because of its great location, delicious food, and delightful cocktails. Last night we were also pleasantly surprised that my son received a special dessert on a decorated “Happy Birthday” plate. Our family also got some extra desserts to sample.
