Not a terrible experience but not great. Service was incredibly slow. We waited around maybe 15 minutes before someone came to the table and that was after we flagged someone down. Even that person wasn’t helpful and said it wasn’t their job and they only work at the bar. Waited another 10mins for someone to finally showed up. Food was okay but got some of our order wrong. We were on a bit of a time crunch and also weren’t seeing our server so we just ate it. Not a great experience overall.
Rude staff and poorest service ever received by me at any restaurant.
I ordered the fish tacos and was very disappointed. If I didn't use the hot sauce there would have been no taste. I ordered a glass of house wine (5 oz), the tacos (2) and about 1/2 cup french fries and finished with a cold cup of coffee. This experience cost $56 with tip. The only part of this I didn't mind paying was the tip as our waiter was very good and shouldn't have to suffer because of the kitchen.

I’m a joeys regular, and was very disappointed at the taste of the food. They also changed up their menu items. I’m not sure if it is the location or all the restaurants because I had gone to Edmonton bell tower location recently and Sherway gardens and they were good. The service was great but food made my rating go down significantly.
The overall service was bad slow and really didnt have much attention to customers. We found some hair our dip which was replaced and removed from our bill however nothing was done to redeem the overall lack of service. Started with water glasses that had a weird smell. We went to cleberate a bday and they didn't remember the cake and when presented, was the smallest piece. Diet of all I’d like to say I love joeys but I’ve been very disappointed the last two times I’ve gone. We didn’t once have our waitress come back and ask us for any refills or if we needed anything else. We waited for over an hour to get our dinner plates taken away and to get a dessert for my friends birthday and to top It off no candles. Then another 20 minutes for coffee. But at the same time they’re understaffed so I can understand. But I don’t think I’ll do anymore celebrations there

Just like most things in Canada this restaurant has gone downhill quickly. There’s no proper seating for a date night, the vibe is like sitting in a fish market, the music was playing so loud as if to distract from the poor experience that they are offering now - likely because they have to cut costs everywhere. The servers did their best. The management should be fired. I am never coming to this place again.
